One of my favorite things during the class would probably be the group projects. I think personally for me I enjoyed them so much because of the people in my group. We had fun skype conversations and random emails going back and forth, but it allowed us to get to know each other quickly because of the projects that needed to be completed. Although I am sure we all had some snags, overall my group was amazing and there some people that I am sure I will keep in contact with!! One of my least favorites was having to rememeber to go online to do the posts. I think for me with my poor interent service and little time it was hard to do it every 12 hours. However I understand the point of the time constraint and being a little more organized in order to complete them. Other than that I had a blast in the class, the teacher was very thorough and helpful.
I didn’t put it in my favorite category, but now that I think of it, group projects were fun. Although they were big and they did require an online class to meet in person, it was enjoyable. Usually with online courses, they are very impersonal and we do everything online. However, it was nice to meet some of our classmates in person. It gave me a more personal connection to my class. Attending an online class without any in person meetings kind of makes me feel like my classmates don’t really exist because there’s no contact.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your least favorite thing. It was difficult to post something 12 hours apart; however, I understand that Professor Perez wants us to really get to know the material and then write about it.
The group project was fun because I get to meet different people and I learned that one of the group member have mutual friends with me. However, we didn’t have skype conversions, but we did meet each other weekly for our group project and it helped us bonded with each other. I agree that the discussions were a little tedious and the 12 hours before posting can be very inconvient, however I think the reason why the professor have that is so we do not procrastinate. Overall, critical thinking class was very fun and I learned quite a lot from doing the blogs even though it was kind of time consuming. However, it reinforce me to learn about critical thinking.
